Curriculum outline

YOUR CHARTER

Full charter: required

Flexible charter: required

Fast charter: not used

Before you begin

Any of the following resources will help you to create this outline, if they are in your charter:

  • Competencies and skills worksheet
  • Practical activity worksheet and prototype

Review your activity plans and assets

The outline you created in your Practical activity worksheet is a good resource to start your Curriculum outline. Break up your sequence of activities into a series of tutorials, group those tutorials into projects and/or courses.

If you have a practical activity, work it through as you develop the outline. Make sure your project has all the functionality and content learners need.

If you have assessments (quizzes or submissions), make sure that everything you expect from learners in the assessments is covered in your curriculum.

As you develop your outline, you might revise your practical activity — that's natural!

Fill out tutorials and steps

Note: Fill out only the first column of the outline for now.

There are detailed instructions at the top of the Curriculum outline template.

Curriculum outline examples

For a sample of a curriculum outline, examine the example AR: Face filters curriculum outline. Then compare it to the finished course, Create with AR: Face Filters.

ACTION

In the Curriculum outline worksheet, complete the first column of the template for each project/unit. Make a separate outline for each course/mission if your learning experience has them.
