YOUR CHARTER

All charters: required

A learning outcome describes what learners will be able to do by the end of the learning experience. It is a high-level overview — you should be able to state the learning outcome for a course in one sentence.

Here are some examples of learning outcomes:

  • Learners will be able to light a scene to set a mood.
  • Learners will be able to build their own AR games.
  • Learners will be able to install PlasticSCM and use its basic functions.

This statement will describe what your target learners want to achieve. It will motivate them to embark on your learning content.

Keep your own goals and outcomes separate from the learning outcome. For example, you might want to increase revenue from a particular product – but that isn't what your learners care about.
